Practice

Hiarki operates where brand meets space. We partner with commercial architecture firms to design the experiential layer of a project with the same rigor as the building.

Our work turns brand intent into spatial decisions and environmental graphic systems that respect the architecture and strengthen the experience. The result is clarity, cohesion and a direction that can survive documentation, fabrication and installation.

Our Capabilities

We design the brand experience for the built environment

Our four core capabilities integrate into the architectural process to carry intent from early concept through execution. This is the neglected middle between vision and build. We own it, we systemize it and we deliver it in a form that holds up in the real world.

Brand Integration

We embed brand into the built environment by turning intent into spatial decisions. Identity, narrative and architectural intent are aligned so the space communicates with clarity and consistency. The result is an experience that feels deliberate and cohesive, not layered on after the fact.

Spatial Strategy

We shape how people move through, interpret and engage with a place. We clarify priorities, hierarchy and moments that matter so the experience holds together from arrival to exit. This work establishes the logic of the journey before graphics, content and artifacts multiply.

Vision, System and Scope

We bring order to complexity. We define the vision, build the system and produce a scoped plan so the work becomes clear, disciplined and executable. This is where the project stops drifting and starts behaving like a coherent, buildable direction.

Environmental Graphics and Wayfinding

We design environmental graphics and wayfinding systems as an extension of the architecture and the brand. Clarity, accessibility and cohesion. Delivered as a buildable system fabricators can execute without compromising the architecture.

Who We Work With

Built for integrated delivery

We work with commercial teams who want the experiential layer resolved early and carried cleanly through execution. The fit is strongest when brand, experience and environmental graphic design are treated as a disciplined scope of work, not an afterthought handed off late.

Architecture Firms

We partner with architecture firms delivering corporate, workplace, civic and mixed-use environments that need the experience and EGD layer designed with the same rigor as the build. We bring brand-led clarity to the parts that typically sprawl, then build the systems that hold up through documentation, fabrication and install.

Owners and Developers

We work with owners and developers who understand that early clarity is the cheapest part of the project. Investing up front in experiential intent, EGD direction and scope discipline reduces the downstream costs of indecision, rework and last-minute compromises. The outcome is a space that stays coherent and beautiful through execution, instead of drifting into the familiar late-stage “good enough” clutter.

Institutions and Organizations

We work directly with the organizations inhabiting the space. Corporations, hospitality groups and experience-driven brands that want the environment to express mission and intent, not just look finished. This is where brand integration matters most. We shape the experiential layer so the space tells a clear story, feels purposeful and leaves people with the right impression.

Let’s Collaborate

If you’re working on a project where brand, architecture and experience need to align, we’d love to collaborate.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Brand integration helps ensure spaces communicate as clearly as they function. When brand is considered alongside architecture, environments feel intentional, cohesive and aligned with the organization’s identity rather than layered on after the fact.

  • Early. The moment a project needs experiential intent, identity integration or EGD direction, we can establish the rails that prevent late-stage drift. The earlier we set the system, the less rework shows up downstream.

  • We operate as a design partner, not a separate overlay. Our role is to collaborate closely with architects, interior designers and consultants to align brand, narrative and graphic systems with materiality, form and circulation already in play.

  • Architecture teams lead spatial design, structure and technical execution. We focus on translating brand strategy into spatial and graphic systems such as experience planning, environmental graphics, wayfinding and documentation that integrates seamlessly with the architectural intent.

  • No. We do not compete with fabricators, we direct them. Hiarki defines the intent, designs the system and produces the documentation that makes execution clean. Fabricators build and install. We collaborate with the project’s fabricator or bring trusted partners when needed, staying involved through reviews, samples and installation support so the outcome holds up in the space.

  • We work at an architectural altitude. Traditional studios often stop at concepts or visuals. We carry intent into a buildable system. Our work is brand-led, architecturally integrated and documented with enough rigor that it can be fabricated and installed without the project slipping into clutter, inconsistency or compromise.

  • We lead with fixed-fee phases tied to outcomes. We start with a defined planning phase to establish direction, priorities and a scoped blueprint. Once that is approved, we price design and documentation from the blueprint. Hourly is available for limited advisory support or true unknowns, but it is not our default.

  • Not at all. We work across a range of project types and scales. What matters most is intent. Projects where clarity, experience and cohesion are valued as part of the built outcome.
